Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how AssistedLivingTraining.com collects, uses, and protects information when you use our Continuing Education platform. The platform is operated by Cyndee CBRF Training, LLC.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

How We Use Your Information

We use information to:

Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with:

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). We receive confirmation that a payment occurred and may store transaction references and receipt links for recordkeeping and support. We do not store any credit/debit card numbers, CVC codes, or payment credentials on our servers.

Data Security

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. However, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for notifying us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Data Retention

We retain training records and account history for as long as necessary to provide services, maintain accurate documentation for learners and employers, and satisfy legitimate business and legal recordkeeping needs. Records may be archived after access ends.

Your Choices

You may update certain profile information through your account. To protect record accuracy, name corrections (which affect certificates) and email address changes (which affect account access and record matching) must be handled through support for both students and employer administrators.

Terms of Use

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, purchasing access, or using courses on AssistedLivingTraining.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. These terms apply to individual learners and employers who manage staff access. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.

1. Purpose of the Platform

AssistedLivingTraining.com provides self-paced Continuing Education courses intended to support ongoing caregiver education. Requirements can vary by state, role, facility type, and licensing rules. Employers and learners are responsible for confirming current requirements with the appropriate licensing authority and employer policies.

2. Accounts, Access, and Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information current. You may not share accounts or credentials. Training, post-tests, and certificates must reflect the person completing the coursework.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe accounts are being shared, misused, or used in a way that undermines record accuracy or platform integrity.

3. Employer Admin Access and Invitation Responsibility

Employer administrators can manage staff rosters, seat assignments, reporting, and related employer tools. Employers are responsible for granting admin access only to trusted individuals and for using correct, active email addresses.

If an administrator invitation is sent to an incorrect, outdated, or unintended email address, the employer assumes responsibility for that error. Any person who receives an invitation and completes account setup is presumed authorized by the employer unless the employer notifies us promptly.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from incorrect email addresses, shared credentials, internal employer access decisions, or failure to remove administrator access when staffing changes occur.

4. Course Content, Completion, and Certificates

Certificates are issued based on platform completion rules (including slides, required items, and post-test requirements). Certificates reflect training activity recorded on the platform. Employers remain responsible for determining how training aligns with their internal policies and any state or regulatory expectations.

5. Employer Admin Access and Invitation Responsibility

Employer administrators can manage staff rosters, seat assignments, reporting, and (where available) company-wide rules. Employers are responsible for granting admin access only to trusted individuals and for maintaining correct admin emails.

Incorrect invitations: If an employer sends an administrator invitation to the wrong or unintended recipient, the employer assumes responsibility for that error.

We are not responsible for unauthorized access resulting from incorrect email addresses, shared credentials, internal employer access decisions, or failure to revoke access when staffing changes occur.

6. Seat Assignment, Removal, and Returned Seats

Employers may purchase seats in advance and assign them to staff. Removing a seat ends access for that staff member and returns the seat to the employer's available seat pool only if training has not meaningfully begun.

Meaningful Training Activity

Meaningful training activity includes any certificate issued, any post-test attempt, or activity across more than one course. Minimal activity (below 10%) in one course only may still be considered eligible for removal.

Seat removal eligibility rules may be enforced by the platform and are part of our licensing and access policy.

7. Technology Requirements and Availability

You are responsible for using a compatible device, browser, and reliable internet connection. While we aim to keep the platform available, temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control.

For the best experience: We recommend using a laptop or desktop computer. Many features can be used on a mobile device, but smaller screens and mobile browser limitations may make reading content, completing post-tests, or downloading certificates more difficult.

8. Intellectual Property

Course content, materials, and platform resources are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, record, resell, distribute, or share course materials without written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the platform. This includes attempting to bypass access controls, share credentials, scrape content, interfere with platform operation, or use the site in a way that compromises records, security, or availability.

10. Payments, Chargebacks, and Fraud Protection

Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe). We do not store any credit/debit card numbers, CVC codes, or payment credentials on our servers. You agree you are authorized to use the payment method submitted.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in immediate suspension of access and may revoke certificates issued during the disputed period. We may provide documentation to the payment processor to respond to disputes.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyndee CBRF Training, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or courses. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the platform.

Refund Policy

Continuing Education access is delivered immediately after purchase and includes access to course content and tracking tools. Because access is available right away, purchases are generally final and non-refundable.

Independent Learner Purchases

If an independent learner contacts us within 3 days of purchase and no meaningful training activity has begun, we may issue a refund at our discretion.

Employer / Facility Purchases

Employer and facility purchases provide seat-based access for staff and are generally non-refundable. If an employer no longer needs a seat for a staff member, the employer may remove the seat and return it to the employer's available seat pool only if training has not meaningfully begun, according to the seat removal rules described above.

Meaningful Training Activity

Meaningful training activity includes any certificate issued, any post-test attempt, or activity across more than one course. Minimal activity (below 10%) in one course only may still be considered eligible for review.
